IndieWeb March 14, 2023 Hey Joel, thanks for the kind words! Great to read your experience with indieweb, POSSE and so on. I don’t mind replicating my post, you actually contributed something: I didn’t know about http://pin13.net/, but I’ll have to check it out! February 15, 2023 That is so cool, that you implemented a micropub server. Congrats! 🍾 And good luck on conquering the world! 😜 September 9, 2022 Nice to read about your Indieweb implementations. […] I only build my blog hourly, [which] means webmentions can take up to an hour to appear on the site after being sent. Is that really bad UX? Do people really expect their webmentions to show up quickly on the target website? I struggled with that, too, but I’ve settled for the static approach. I like to embrace the philosophy of slow web, so webmentions are only displayed once I decide to make changes to website (i. [...] August 23, 2022 Looks like the next step in my #indieweb adventure will be setting up a #micropub endpoint so I can post using a client. #selfdogfood August 3, 2022 Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings! 😄 for “instant appearance” […] you could simply revert to client-side JS code. There were two root causes to this problem, one on my side, and one on go-jamming’s side. go-jamming checks the site’s RSS feed where to send webmentions. It expects the raw HTML in the post item’s description tag. But Hugo, by default, puts a summary of a post in there. I could fix that by adapting my theme. [...] July 29, 2022 I received my first webmention from a non-silo (Twitter, Mastodon) source. Woohooo! #indieweb #webmention July 27, 2022 And this is a reply to my earlier post. July 27, 2022 I’m writing this post in the hopes it will be published on Twitter and Mastodon via brid.gy #indieweb Indiewebify me! And don't forget my webmentions! July 22, 2022 This describes my experiences in getting my website into the IndieWeb, adding microformats, Webmentions and how I sometimes struggled with all of it.
